In Module 8 we learned how to develop a hotlist. Basically, a hotlist is a website that contains links to other websites. An instructor could develop a hotlist website to support the course they are teaching. The hotlist site would contain links to other websties that support or reinforce what is being taught in class. The websites can be listed in different categories, and brief descriptions can be written about each site.
I am not sure how valuable this tool is? Since, if the instructor had e-mail adresses for his or her students, she or he could just e-mail a lsit of links to the students. I guess this tool would be useful for students who do not have e-mail adresses.

Layne,
That is a good idea - suggesting that a teacher could set up a hotlist for references and other information required for his or her class.
Even though you suggest that the teacher could simply email it to his or her students, the Hotlist would put the onus on the students to go look through the list, rather than simply waiting for an email.
